Needs Assessment for Race Equity and Health Justice Fellowship Program

The Restuccia Health Justice Fellowship is focused on building the power and capacity of emerging advocacy leaders and their organizations to reshape the health system so it is reflective of and responsive to communities and what they need and want.  According to Community Catalyst, the fellowship's primary objective is “to equip diverse teams within local, state and national health advocacy organizations with the tools, resources and teamwork they need and want to build health and wellness for everyone.”

Our Contributions

  • Select a representative group of key informants working in the area of health equity and justice in the New York region and conduct interviews.

  • Design an organizational needs assessment survey to understand how to adapt the national fellowship program based upon the assets and needs of the New York region.

  • Provide recommendations to adapt the fellowship program to the political, cultural, social and economic conditions of the New York region.
